Starting May, broadband internet for less in Syria

In order to fulfill the increasing demand on broadband internet access, the Syrian Telecom Establishment has announced a 31% discount on all ADSL connections starting May 2010, according to Nour Elddine Sabbagh, the commercial manager of the STE. The prices will range from 800SP for 256 kbps to 14800SP for 8mbps respectively.
On the other hand, the general manager of the STE, Nazem Bahsas addressed that the STE is working on making broadband internet widely available through ADSL gateways, fiber-optic cables and 3G mobile services.
