Art aficionados had the pleasure of enjoying the artwork of Syrian sculptor Boshra Moustapha from May1-15 at Rewaq al-Keshli, a revived cultural location under the supervision of well-known Syrian artist and cultural lobbyist, Mustapha Ali.
Displaying her sculptures a few meters underground, in what used to be a bomb shelter, Moustapha made use of an unconventional space that was turned into a gallery – following persistent lobbying by Mustapha Ali Foundation and Gallery to breathe life into such neglected Old Damascus locations.
