Creating a new generation of Syrian researchers
The Syrian Young Scholars Program (SYSP) held a major event mid March, to announce its host of offerings designed to build the capacity of young Syrian scholars. The program aims to contribute to overcoming the shortage of research studies on development in Syria and facilitate the exchange of information and opportunities for collaboration with other local and international scholars. SYSP, a program under the Syria Trust for Development, will fund young scholars through three separate windows; Research Assistantships, Research Fellowships, and Dissemination Grants. Those are available for candidates aged between 20-34 years, residing in Syria, and with a university degree (or university students).
To apply, visit Syria Trust for Development’s website and look for the program’s application, send it back with the required supporting documents to the e-mail below: sysp@syriatrust.org. For those who are interested to become mentors for the young researchers, fill the “Mentorship Application” and send it with your CV to the same e-mail.
