Set in the Dedeman hotel by the swimming pool, Turkuaz is a high-quality spot for a reclusive open-air dinner in Damascus.
Providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere downtown, Turkuaz has become a favorite destination for Damascenes, allowing them to indulge in a wide range of Turkish savories prepared by authentic Turkish cuisine specialists, under the mesmerizing tunes of a live Turkish band.
The restaurant itself is divided into several zones, accommodating those wishing to lose themselves on the front tables by the playing band’s stage, sit by the kitchen for a more vibrant food experience watching the chefs ready their orders, or seclude themselves from the crowd under one of the lush green eucalypti in a cornered area.
The food here is an experience not to be forgotten. With a wide range of selections, Turkish cuisine encompasses all tastes from whichever corners of the globe they might be. And the skilled chefs with their precise balancing of spices and quantities turn your dinner into an experience to be remembered.
The ambience is accentuated by the Turkish inspired ground tiles and ornaments, the dim lighting intricately spread and set by the greeneries, and the meticulously laid decorations over the tables, trees, and stage.
Turkuaz boasts a fine drinks menu as well, including everything from espressos, ice-teas, and fresh juices, to all sorts of traditional drinks and alcohols.
Having undergone a recent renovation, this summer Turkuaz will amplify its experience and offerings with a more diverse program and refined service, deeming it a “hot-spot.”
